Instructions to Parents

  • Parents misbehaving and shouting at school staff is absolutely unacceptable. In such cases, the school will be constrained to issue a TC to children of the culpable parents. Any misbehaviour from the parents sets a bad example to the children.
  • Please be aware of and ensure compliance with the school’s rules and regulations.
  • A record of the parents’ address and phone number are maintained at the school office. Any change in the same should be notified without delay.
  • Please ensure that your child arrives in proper school uniform 10 minutes before the scheduled start time and is picked up immediately after the school ends. Any children left waiting for pickup after the school are the responsibility of the parents.
  • Parents are not allowed to see/pick their children during school hours without permission from the school administration. Parents must not go to the classrooms directly.
  • Parents should be aware of and closely monitor their child’s academic progress. They should ensure that the child completes their homework and prepares for lessons every day. The school diary should be reviewed every day for any remarks and instructions from the school and ensure that timely responses are made wherever required.
  • Parents should know when to expect the progress report card, ask the child for it and sign it for all exams. Please remember, the school alone cannot guarantee the child’s success unless his or her parents co-operate by enforcing regularity and discipline.
  • During visiting hours as per scheduled timings, we encourage parents to discuss with the teachers their child’s progress and problems. Additionally, there will be parent-teacher meetings during the academic year. Please make sure that you attend each and every one of them.
  • Parents have to register for parent/child counselling available at school.
  • School bag must be sorted and checked for unnecessary articles. Only books necessary for that day should be sent. Please avoid burdening your child with weight. This might cause vertebral damage.
  • Parents should respect the extracurricular activities organized by the school and ensure their child’s participation in the same. They are designed to improve the child’s personality and character.
  • We also intend to plan and schedule activities for parents. Parent’s participation in such activities will boost the morale and increase the confidence of children.
  • Parents should encourage school development activities such as bus safety, library improvement, lab setup, smart classes, and finer and more relevant computer education.
  • Parents and registered guardians are welcome to discuss any issues with the school administration. Please note that no one else other than parents and registered guardians will be allowed. Comments, suggestions and complaints in the form of a letter may also be submitted to the school. Direct phone calls should be restricted to emergency issues.
  • Unplanned bandh days cannot be predicted and therefore cannot be confirmed before 8:00 am on the respective day. Therefore, please do not call before 8:00 am even if you’re suspecting a bandh.
